LOVE  We are a family of believers.  We accept each other because God has accepted each of us.
A HOLY BIBLE  We take the Bible as inspired--given by God Himself--as the ultimate authority for what we believe and how we live.
GRACE  Salvation is a free gift from God.  We had no way to save ourselves until the sufficient payment of Christ’s blood shed in His death on the cross paid our sin debt.
RESPONSE  It is necessary that we accept God’s free offer of salvation by faith, repentance, and baptism (immersion).  As we confess Christ as our Lord and Savior and are baptized, God forgives our sins and gives us the Holy Spirit to empower our lives as we walk with Him.
WORSHIP  God delivering us from sin and being our Father makes us a people of worship, filled with praise and thanksgiving.  We live daily before God and give Him glory.  We assemble together on Sundays to together give Him praise for what He has done and to strengthen and encourage each other.
UNITY  We will not become entangled in men’s creeds and traditions.  Instead, our effort is to follow Christ.  Jesus and His followers--the church we read about in the New Testament--have left us excellent examples of lifestyle, worship, doctrine, and church organization we can easily follow today.
ORGANIZATION  We are autonomous which means we have no ties to any earthly headquarters.  Jesus is the “head" of the church and it is His “body.’”  Elders (or “bishops, overseers, or pastors”) serve local congregations as leaders who "shepherd" (lead and protect) the flock.
MINISTRY  God gives every Christian gifts--talents, abilities, interests and personalities--that we use for service to each other and to the world.  We do not work to be saved; we work because we have already been saved and our work is an expression of our gratitude for God’s loving and gracious gifts to us.
LIFESTYLE  Our lifestyle is changed because we are committed to Jesus Christ.  He died for us, so we will live for Him.  The Holy Spirit works in our lives to produce fruits that change Christ's disciples more and more into His likeness.
LOOKING FOR JESUS’ RETURN  We are warned to be ready for Christ's return one day--we do not claim to know the day--when He will come back to take His people home.  That is what He promised.  Christians alive and dead will meet Him in the clouds and He will take us to heaven.  There we will stand before Heaven’s throne of judgment.  The earth and all in it will be destroyed.  God’s people will be given their inheritance and those who don't know Him will be sent from His presence into eternal punishment.
